- Grinch is the first character to be based off of western literature and animation, originating from Dr. Seuss's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and it's 1966 film that succeeded it.
- This by technicality also makes the Grinch the oldest character out of all the units in All Star Tower Defense, being followed by Demonside, Demonside (Ultimate) and God in 2nd if you count the original Devilman series and not their Devilman Crybaby incarnations releasing in 1972 and Bike Leader in 3rd with the Akira manga releasing in 1982.
