The Pharaoh is a 6-star unit based on Yami Yugi (Pharaoh) from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh. The only ways to obtain this unit, are by summoning him from the Hero Summon with a 1% chance or by evolution. He attacks by summoning Exodia, The Forbidden One. Be careful on placing the unit, as the player is only able to place this unit once.
His 5-star variant, Card Collector, Go, can be evolved by using the specific ingredients below:
Draw card is a manual ability of Yugi with 40 uses and a cooldown of 20 seconds. Initially you need use this ability which draws a random card from your deck, with the aim of drawing one of the five different Exodia cards (Body, Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, Right Leg). If you draw an Exodia card, it appears permanently on display behind Yugi. Once you draw the fifth and last Exodia card, a cutscene will play, and Yugi deals exactly 5B damage to all enemies on the map, including air units. Considering that it is a random chance of obtaining the last card, attempting to use this ability as a last-ditch effort is very risky. A good way to use this ability as a last straw technique is to draw 4 cards in the early rounds and when you are in later rounds and enemies are getting through start auto-activating for the fifth card. The ability has a range of 336, meaning it can hit the entirety of all maps.
Selling
The Pharaoh cannot be sold. This is to prevent high damage spamming of buy, use, and sell. He also cannot be placed more than once, so place him very carefully just like King Of Heroes.
Unit Categories
Leader: Units in the Card Counters Category gain Attack Boost +15%.
Fruity stated that due to Exodia not being completed, that he would be searching until he found all the parts. He ended up finding them, but somebody "stole" his opportunity. A person known as "Guy_OMG" was the one believed to have been summoned by Exodia. He was to be granted 3 wishes, but was only able to obtain 2, as Fruity had taken the third. His first wish was for Exodia to be returned to Yugi so that he could return to full strength. A selfless wish indeed, stated by Exodia. The second wish was "speaking for the entire ASTD community," infinite damage task. Before he could get his wish given, he was muted and had his opportunity stolen. However, Exodia stated that because of the second wish being granted to Guy_OMG, the opportunity was unable to be stolen. There was a catch however, Exodia could only grant the wish if somebody of a higher friendship would allow the wish to pass. The first person was... not a "friend" as they only knew Guy_OMG for 40 minutes, with a few thousand laughing crying emojis following his comment. The second was a person who claimed to be the brother of Guy_OMG, who had been muted by NavyXFlame, but thanks to plot armor/main character armor, his mute was disregarded, however because the granted wish had been disrupted, Exodia required another person to speak if they knew Guy_OMG for a very long time. The third and final person claimed to be the mother of the second person, and Guy_OMG. Unfortunately, she got disrupted by mute as well, but followed the same law of immunity to the mute. It is unknown if this wish was actually passed, due to Exodia not stating if the wish was passed. Finally, Fruity was able to get to Exodia, and the final wish was granted, return to where Exodia came from. The lore channel known as #end-of-time was subsequently hidden (or deleted), and Exodia was later added to Yugi, yet he is still subjective to getting buffed as of now.
Yugi then returned to the banner a few hours later.
To summarize: Fruity summons Exodia, Exodia believes Guy_OMG was the subsequent summoner, gets 2 wishes granted (the first was granted as we can use Exodia now, however it is unknown if Exodia granted the second wish due to each wish confirm being interrupted by either Vinny or NavyXFlame), and Fruity banishes Exodia to where they came from.
Other nonsense:
The person who claimed to be the mother of Guy_Omg now claims they're the "Mother of the ASTD Community" on their Discord account.
NavyXFlame changed his username to Guy_OMG temporarily to try to fool Exodia. This obviously failed.
"Even that is something I can't grant" -Exodia to Guy saying his laptop is about to explode.
Talking Ben (the bot) made a brief appearance while Fruity was removing Exodia. "Hohohoho, no. Do you love Exodia?" These messages were subsequently purged later.
Trivia
He was in the banner due to a glitch, then was replaced by Sky God. This was covered up by The Pharaoh "Looking for the pieces of Exodia".
The Pharaoh was the first unit based on someone from the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise to not have "Card Collector" in their name.
This unit was the second 6-star based on someone from Yu-Gi-Oh, the first being Card Collector, Ci.
He was the third unit added to the game to activates a cutscene with his manual ability, with the first being ZIO (ASCENDED), the second being Airren (Final), and the fourth being Zero
The Pharaoh was the only 6 star unit from Banner Z who does not have an Enchant, not counting Jeff (CEO) due to fact that he cannot attack.
Later on 1/31/23, The Pharaoh receives an Fire enchant.
The Pharaoh is the only character to have "lore" behind them, and there will likely be more in the future due to the ratings of being mainly composed of 9s and 10s in rating scales.
Excluding Exodia, Yami uses a total of 5 unique cards in his attack animations, them being;
The majority of the cards he uses are quite inaccurate, examples being Dark Hole and Dark Burning Magic, two spell cards that have the ability of destroying all enemy cards (with Dark Hole destroying all cards, whether ally or foe). Despite this, The Pharaoh uses an AoE Circle for both attacks.
On Update 29, The Pharaoh received a total damage buff of 1,100,000, a total range buff of 19, an increase to his AoE (Circle) size, a buff to his Manual Ability damage and a cost increase of 1,743,700.
You can use this with Cid for extra nuking damage.
